Community Partnerships: Benjamin's House and RLCCC
Since 2011, Benjamin’s House has been a beacon of hope for individuals facing homelessness in our community. We provide shelter, food, support services, and a pathway to self-sufficiency for those in need. Our mission extends beyond the walls of our shelter, as we actively engage with the community to support local efforts that align with our vision.
One such partnership is with the Rice Lake Celebrity Charity Classic (RLCCC), a community-wide nonprofit dedicated to raising funds for youth organizations in the Rice Lake area. Through events like Night for the Kids and the Celebrity Charity Golf Tournament, RLCCC brings together business leaders, volunteers, and organizations to uplift the next generation. Together, we strive to improve the lives of those in need, not just at Benjamin’s House, but throughout Rice Lake.

Join us for an evening of inspiration and empowerment at the Rice Lake High School Auditorium on Tuesday, June 11th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM for "Night for the Kids" as we welcome Alex Green, a record-setting college football player turned NFL/CFL running back and the published author of the heartwarming children’s book, "AJ Wants to Play Football". Green's remarkable journey from the gridiron to the motivational stage brings a unique blend of athleticism and wisdom to our event.
Green talks about "It's time to reclaim control over your life and transform setbacks into opportunities." Our event aims to empower individuals to recognize their inherent greatness, to turn pressures into chances for growth, and to fulfill the potential they are destined for.
