STREET EATS CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT 09/09/2023 1:00 p.m.
PRIZES: 1st Place - $200 2nd Place - $120 3rd Place - $80
(50% PAYBACK/50% to Benjamin’s House)
Play starts with a coin toss. In doubles play, the winner of the coin toss will either choose the lane and location of each player of that team which will be permanent for the entirety of the game OR who goes first and the loser of the coin toss will get the outcome of the option available.
One player from Team #1 and one player from Team #2 will stand at either board, across from their partner. Two players standing on the same end (one from Team #1 and one from Team #2) will alternate tossing the bean bags. Once all four bags are thrown by each player, total all points for each player. The difference between the two will be the score for the team that scored the most points.
Example: Team #1 scores 4 points, Team #2 scores 1 point; Team #1 score is 3.
Now, the person from the team that scored last is going first.
A bean bag that goes through the hole in the board counts as 3 points.
A bean bag that lands on the board counts as 1 point.
A bean bag that lands on the ground counts as 0 points.
If a bag is pushed into the hole it counts as 3 points for the team that owns the bag.
Bags are tossed underhanded.
The foul line is at the front of the board. Fouls are made when the throwing player passes the foul before, during or after a bag is thrown. All foul bags count as zero and are removed if they land on the board.
Play continues until a score of at least 21 points is achieved by one team at the conclusion of the round (does not have to win by 2).
Boards are positioned 27 feet apart (to front of each board). Boards can be adjusted before play of each round, if needed.
